The new JCB Tough phone has today been released on Orange in the UK, this expands the number of tariffs on offer and makes finding the best deal much easier when trying to find the right amount of minutes and text for your requirements.
The JCB Tough phone was originally released on Vodafone and O2 and more recently made an appearance as a SIM Free handset and pay as you go phone before being released on Orange today.
The JCB Tough Phone is hard as nails. Designed as a no-nonsense, rugged mobile phone it will take being hit, dropped, knocked splashed and filthied. This is backed up with a 3yr manufacturers warranty.
It has an extra loud ring option to make itself heard in a noisy environment, a push-to-talk option turning it in to a walkie-talkie (with an additional subscription – details in the box), and comes with a solid belt clip to help keep it to hand.

Having seen mention that the JCB Tough can be used as a ‘Walkie Talkie’ is this the standard PMR (personal mobile radio) configuration used for licence free system?

Also, as USB cable is included, am I correct in assuming that this provideds data communication to a PC
