The upgrade to the popular Blackberry 8800 has today been released on Orange as the Blackberry 8820.
You’d be forgiven for thinking that you are looking at the Blackberry 8800 but in actual fact this is the Blackberry 8820.

A wireless handheld device, the Blackberry 8820 smartphone shares many if not all the characteristics of the popular Blackkberry 8800 but has the added advantage of WiFi techology to boost its already overwhelming appeal and is the first smartphone by RIM to achieve this by combining EDGE/GPRS/GSM.
Equipped with all the standard Blackberry functions, the Blackberry 8820 is a highly developed business tool which supports UMA technology enabling the user to switch voice calls between a wireless cellular network and WiFi network seamlessly, even in the midst of an active call, allowing use of a broadband connection when in a WiFi enabled environment.
The Blackberry 8820 boasts additional features such as a fully integrated GPS navigation system accompanied by Blackberry maps, whilst at the same time providing familiarity and comfort in the knowledge and understanding of standard features that include a multimedia player, web browser, push email, expandable memory, setup wizard to guide you through, bluetooth wireless with stereo support, full Qwerty keyboard, USB connectivity, built-in handsfree and document viewer for access to Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Corel WordPerfect and Adobe PDF documents,
so providing complete reassurance and peace of mind that you have everything at your fingertips to fulfil any job requirement.

This is a really cool phone, smaller and more compact than the old blacberry’s with better screen resolution and readability. Superd choice for those on the move
